Grrrls in Noise & Witchcraft electronics
Women’s noise circle
Argentina, Mexico 2013 – 2015
“A sisterhood of women who practice technomagic and sonic alchemy. They gather secretly every so often for a sabbat where they cast noisy spells and incantations, reclaiming their ancestral feminine knowledge, hidden forces, and subversive powers through ceremonies of technical disobedience and electronic witchcraft“.

Circuit Riot is a women’s noise circle (and all forms of resonating) reinterpreting and reclaiming everyday practices and ancestral feminine knowledge.
This year 2015, Circuit Riot/CuMbre RuidOsA will take place in March in the city of Lima, Peru, inviting all noisy ones to participate in this relational encounter of feminine practices, noise, and performance art.
This year’s participation topics are: performance art, noise, traditional crafts, inventions, cooking recipes, dissident sexualities, feminist guerrilla, natural medicine, magic, and ancestral technologies.
The format of the encounter includes conversation circles, exchange of practices, and collective actions.
The Circuit Riot project presents itself as a laboratory/workshop of shared experiences, where the main goal is to generate a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences with the intention of creating a community (ephemeral and in motion). Therefore, shared workshops proposed by the participants themselves are encouraged. The topics to be shared are: performance art, noise, traditional crafts, inventions, cooking recipes, dissident sexualities, feminist guerrilla, natural medicine, magic, and ancestral technologies.
To this end, it is proposed that each participant bring a project they are currently working on/starting an exploration/or that they would like to propose with a view to being shared and developed during the laboratory days.
